The integration goes through our responsive editor
We do not integrate your designs “by hand” in a raw code editor. The integration is done with our responsive email message editor, the same one made available to clients working on their own. The advantage: the template produced is natively compatible with the platform. You can then duplicate it, modify it and personalise it for your next campaigns without starting from scratch.
Not just responsive, compatible
“Responsive” means the message adapts to the size of the screen (computer, tablet, mobile). But in emailing, that is not necessarily enough. An email can be responsive and still display badly in Outlook 2019, because Outlook uses Word's rendering engine. Our team knows these quirks by heart.

Your email tested on more than 20 email clients before delivery
Delivering a “responsive” template without testing it is like sending a campaign without checking the subject line. Before handing over the template, we run it through our built-in rendering test tool. The same tool available in the platform to test your campaigns before sending.
Desktop, mobile, webmail: every combination is checked
The test covers the email clients most used by your recipients. Outlook in its various versions, Gmail in web and mobile app form, Apple Mail on Mac and on iPhone, Yahoo, Thunderbird, and the main webmails. In total, more than 20 combinations are checked. If a display problem is spotted, we fix it before delivery.
Dark mode too
For a few years now, dark mode has become a subject in its own right in email integration. Background colours inverting, text becoming unreadable, logos disappearing on a black background. Our integration takes dark-mode rendering into account on the email clients that support it. It is a detail many integrators still ignore, and one your recipients notice immediately.

From receiving your design to delivery: a four-step process
No opaque tunnel. You know where your template stands at every stage.
1. Analysis of your design and recommendations
As soon as your file arrives, the team checks technical feasibility. If an element of your design causes problems in emailing — a background image on a button that will not be supported everywhere, a hover effect that does not exist in email — we flag it with a suggested alternative. You approve before we start the integration.
2. Responsive integration in the Ediware editor
The template is built in our responsive editor. Block structure, images cut and optimised for weight, live HTML text, call-to-action buttons in pure HTML to guarantee display even when images are blocked. Dynamic personalisation is built in where needed: first name, company, custom fields from your contact database.
3. Multi-client rendering tests
The template goes through the rendering test tool. Checked on more than 20 email clients, on desktop and mobile. Any rendering problems are corrected. You receive an overview of the results.
4. Delivery and handover
The template is installed directly in your Ediware workspace. It is ready to use. If you are on full-service management, our team can also handle the sending for you. If you work on your own, the template is in your library, ready to duplicate and modify.

At send time, each recipient receives a message that uses their own information. The content adapts on its own, with no extra handling on your part.

The rate for responsive integration starts at 180 € excl. VAT for a standard template. The final price depends on the complexity of your design: number of blocks, presence of dynamic personalisation, special effects. You receive a quote before the integration starts.
A 30-day guarantee after delivery
For 30 days after delivery, adjustments and corrections to your template are included. Text to change, an image to replace, a button to reposition: you send us the change and we apply it. It is as simple as that.

The standard time is 3 to 5 working days from receipt of your design. For recurring templates whose structure is already in place, it is of course faster.

Which design formats do you accept?
PSD, PDF, EPS, and more generally any usable graphic format. If all you have is a flat image (PNG, JPG), that works too. The team adapts to whatever format you have to hand.
Can the delivered template only be used on Ediware?
The template is installed in your Ediware workspace and optimised for our platform. A standard HTML export is also possible if you need to use the template on another emailing tool.
How long does the integration take?
Between 3 and 5 working days for a standard template. The time depends on the complexity of the design and the number of blocks to integrate. For recurring campaigns whose layout is already in place, updating the content is faster.
Do you test the display on mobile?

Can I modify the template myself after delivery?

Do you also offer graphic design of the layout?
This service covers the technical integration of an existing design into responsive HTML email. If you need graphic design work, our team can also create the layout beforehand. The quote then includes both the design and the integration.
