Email design creation: from raw content to a professional email ready to send
You send us your content, no design to supply, design created and integrated in responsive HTML, tested on more than 20 email clients.
You have written text, a Word document, a brief and your brand guidelines. But no design. And no in-house graphic designer who masters the technical constraints of emailing. Entrusting the creation to a general web designer often means risking a visual that looks good in a browser but breaks in Outlook. Or that ends up in spam because the text/image ratio is unbalanced.
Ediware's email design service covers both stages. The graphic creation of your message from your content and your visual identity, then the technical integration into responsive HTML email, tested on more than 20 email clients.
Send your content, receive an email with a professional design
It works directly. You send us what you have: a Word document with your text, a brief, your logo, your colours, possibly reference visuals or examples of emails you like. Our team creates the complete design respecting your brand guidelines, then integrates it in responsive HTML.
What you send
Your written text, the format hardly matters. Word, PDF, or even an email with the content straight in the body of the message. Your brand guidelines if you have them, or at minimum your logo and your colours. Product visuals, photos, graphic elements to include: you attach them to the brief. And if you really are starting from scratch, a brief with your instructions is enough to get going.
What you receive
An email with a professional design, installed in your Ediware workspace through our responsive editor. The template is ready to take your contact list and go. It adapts automatically to the screen size, whether your recipient reads it on a computer, a tablet or a smartphone. And above all, it is reusable. You can duplicate it and change the content for your next campaigns, without starting from scratch each time.
The rules
- Word, PDF or textthe format of your content hardly matters
- Logo and coloursyour brand guidelines, or at minimum these two elements
- Responsive HTMLcomputer, tablet or smartphone, the template adapts to the screen
A design conceived for email, not adapted from the web
That is the fundamental difference between a web designer and a team that has been doing emailing for more than twenty years. A web designer creates visuals that work in a browser. An email designer creates visuals that work in Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo, and around twenty other email clients. Each with its own rules of the game.
The constraints our designers know by heart
Our graphic designers work with these constraints in mind from the design phase. The design is not created in a web tool and then “adapted” to email afterwards. It is conceived for email from the outset. That is what makes the result clean first time, with no back-and-forth.
The text/image ratio, a detail that changes deliverability
An email made up solely of one large image — some advertisers still do it. It is a strong spam signal for the ISPs' anti-spam filters. Conversely, an all-text email with no visual passes the filters but does not catch attention. The right text/image balance is built into the design from the start, not adjusted at the end when you realise the anti-spam score is poor. It is a reflex web designers do not have, and one our team applies systematically.
The rules
- OutlookWord rendering engine: no native rounded corners, no reliable background images, margins that behave differently from a browser
- Gmailstrips certain CSS tags
- Yahooadds phantom spaces between blocks
- Apple Mailthe most permissive email client, but a fraction of B-to-B inboxes
From your brief to the delivered email: a three-step process
1. Receiving your material and creative brief
You send your content and your graphic elements. The team analyses your brief, checks technical feasibility and asks any follow-up questions. If certain elements cause problems in emailing — an embedded video that will not work everywhere, an interactive carousel half the mailboxes will ignore — we flag it with a suggested alternative. Before starting, not after.
2. Design creation and responsive integration
Our graphic designers create the visual respecting your visual identity and the constraints of emailing. The design is then integrated in our responsive editor and tested on more than 20 email clients in desktop and mobile versions. Dark mode too. It has become a subject in its own right in recent years, and our integrators take it into account from the design stage. If a display problem is detected, it is fixed before you see the result.
3. Delivery and adjustments
The template is installed in your Ediware workspace, ready to send. If an adjustment is needed after delivery — text to change, a colour to alter, a visual to replace — corrections are included for 30 days.
Incidentally, if you would rather our team also handled sending your campaigns, the full-service management service takes over directly from the template created.
What your delivery carries
What is the difference with the responsive integration service?
| Email design | Responsive integration | |
|---|---|---|
| What you supply | Your content and your brief | An existing graphic design, PSD, PDF or EPS |
| What the team produces | The visual created from scratch | The design turned into responsive HTML email |
| The service you need if | You are starting from raw text | You already have a finished visual |
Email design is only part of the support. If you already have a finished graphic design and only need the technical integration into responsive HTML, our responsive emailing service covers that specific need.
More than 4,000 clients supported since 2002
Over twenty years, our team has created email designs for companies of every size in B-to-B. The graphic constraints and the conversion objectives vary from one project to the next. It is precisely that accumulated diversity that enriches our know-how from one project to another.

Frequently asked questions about email design creation
Do I have to supply a graphic design?
No. That is precisely the difference with a responsive integration service. You supply your content, your brief, your logo and your colours. Our team creates the complete design of the message. If on the other hand you already have a finished design, the responsive integration service suits your situation better.
Which content formats do you accept?
Word, PDF, or any usable text format. If you have product visuals, photos or brand elements, the common formats are fine: PNG, JPG, AI, PSD. A creative brief with examples of emails you like is also very useful to frame the artistic direction from the start.
Will the design respect my brand guidelines?
That is the starting point of all the work. Colours, typefaces, logo, graphic tone. If you have a brand guide, we follow it. If you do not, we create a consistent design from the elements you supply, making sure it can be reused for your future campaigns.
Can the delivered template be modified afterwards?
Yes. The template is installed in Ediware's responsive editor. You can duplicate it, change the text, replace images and adjust colours without touching the HTML. That is one of the concrete advantages of an integration done in our editor rather than in raw code.
Will the email be tested before delivery?
The integrated design goes through our rendering test tool. Checked on more than 20 email clients, in desktop and mobile versions. Dark mode is taken into account on the clients that support it. If a rendering problem is detected, it is fixed before delivery.
Are adjustments after delivery included?
For 30 days after delivery, changes are included. Text changes, image replacement, colour adjustment, repositioning an element. You simply send your request and the team takes care of it.
Can I use the template on a platform other than Ediware?
The template is installed in your Ediware workspace and optimised for our platform. A standard HTML export remains possible if you need it, but the template is designed to get the best out of the Ediware editor and infrastructure.
